Lumi ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Lumi application and website (the "Service").

Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly: account registration data (name, email, organization name), team member data you add, daily pulse check-in responses, and business context you share within the Service. We also collect usage data automatically: log data (IP address, browser type, pages visited), device information, and service interaction patterns.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: provide and maintain the Service; generate AI-powered executive briefs and insights from your team's daily updates; send service-related communications; detect and prevent technical issues; improve and develop the Service; and comply with legal obligations.
AI Processing
Lumi uses language models to analyze team updates and generate insights. When AI processing is enabled, your team's daily pulse responses are processed to extract commitments, risks, and decisions. All AI processing is scoped to your organization's data — no cross-tenant training or inference occurs. You may disable AI features at any time by setting LLM_PROVIDER to a non-AI mode in your deployment configuration.
Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with: service providers who assist us in operating the Service (hosting, analytics); legal authorities when required by law; and in connection with a business transfer (merger, acquisition, or asset sale). All third-party providers are contractually bound to data protection obligations.
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Upon account termination, we will delete your organization's data within 30 days. You may request earlier deletion by contacting support@runlumi.app. Certain data may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as audit logs).
Tenant Data Isolation
Lumi is a multi-tenant application. Every organization's data is logically isolated — all queries are scoped to your organization. No user from one organization can access data belonging to another organization. This isolation is enforced at the database query level.
Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; restrict or object to processing; data portability; and withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@runlumi.app. We will respond within 30 days.
GDPR Compliance
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), we process your personal data under the following lawful bases: performance of a contract (providing the Service), legitimate business interests, compliance with legal obligations, and your consent. You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal data, we will delete it promptly.
